The general objective of this research is to compare the use of virtual educational platforms in Higher Education Institutions in the pandemic in the city of Babahoyo. For the development of this topic, a survey was carried out on students of these educational units to find out if the perception of the number of students to be surveyed was 368, the methodology used was descriptive and the type of research was quantitative. The beneficiaries of this work will be the teachers and students, since by using at least one virtual platform, they will be able to improve their academic performance and better enrich themselves with the benefits offered by virtual platforms.
