During confinement, the closure of companies and distributors was devastating, bringing with it new strategies for entrepreneurs who were mainly dedicated to the distribution of groceries and prepared foods, strengthening the use of digital media as communication channels with their customers. Analyzing the impact of social networks on entrepreneurship in the city of Babahoyo has the objective of providing a deep understanding of how these platforms offer new opportunities for the growth and economic development of the city. Through a literature review, interviews, surveys and data analysis, we will seek to identify effective strategies in the use of social networks and provide recommendations to ventures seeking to make the most of the potential of these tools.

La pandemia fue el escenario para que muchos establecimientos pusieran a prueba su capacidad de adaptación en este entorno digital, convirtiéndose las redes sociales en el principal medio de publicidad para los emprendedores. Durante el confinamiento, el cierre de empresas fue arrasador trayendo consigo nuevas estrategias para los emprendedores que se dedicaban principalmente a la venta de comidas, fortalecieron el uso de los medios digitales como canales de comunicación con sus clientes. Analizar el impacto de las redes sociales en los emprendimientos de la ciudad de Babahoyo, tiene como objetivo proporcionar una comprensión profunda de cómo estas plataformas ofrecen nuevas oportunidades para el crecimiento y el desarrollo económico de la ciudad.
