Summary:The present case study is based on a 27-year-old patient who was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule and infectious pharyngitis, on physical examination reveals the patient with burning throat inflammation at the time of ingesting and swallowing food, increasing sweating and weakness. In the anthropometric assessment has a body mass index of 21.09 this indicates, Normal according to the cutoff points given by the World Health Organization. The integral nutritional diagnosis of the patient was performed according to the PES, female patient, with thyroid nodule and infectious pharyngitis related to an alteration of the T4 hormone, evidenced by its biochemical values and its food intake evidenced by the 24-hour recall with insufficient kilocalories, macro and micronutrients. It is intended to improve the nutritional status of the patient through a broad liquid diet of 1618 kilocalories a day with a semi-liquid consistency and a fractionation of 5 meals, With a control in micronutrients such as iodine, calcium and vitamin C, to treat conditions caused by their pathologies achieving satisfactory changes, short and long term complications are prevented through each of the nutritional guidelines for patient improvement.
