Miêu tả
Tóm tắt:Establish a comparative analysis of the refractive state and its affectation in visual health in students from fourth to eighth semester career Agronomic Engineering is a research work in which, the results are obtained through descriptive research, and data collected through the clinical history through the optometric assessment to 145 students, which make up 100% of the population to be investigated. Emmetropia is represented in 30% and 33% both in the right eye and in the left eye, while the remaining percentage represents the ametropias diagnosed and that through a comparative analysis of the refractive state, regardless of age, sex, semester they attend, the myopia occupies the first place followed by emetropia and myopic astigmatism. The lack of knowledge becomes an obstacle to develop visual protection habits, as indicated by 47% of the total population that goes through more than 5 to 8 hours, compared to an electronic device, while 72% of the population does not take proper precautions when conducting field activities. As for the symptomatology, 31% of the population refers to light discomfort, while ocular dryness affects 25% of the total population. Finally, 24% are diagnosed with pinguecula, and 59% do not present any clinical sign, so the provision of information is required through educational strategies that are aimed at caring for and preserving visual health.
