| Resumo: | The main objective of this research is to adversity appropriate marketing strategies to encourage gastronomic tourism at corn fairs in the Canton of Ventanas. From the methodological point of view, the research is of a descriptive nature, also in this research a field design is used, as a technique of collecting information the survey is used, where a questionnaire is carried out as eight items, therefore a sample was selected simple random said people from the Ventanas canton. The results of the research show that 80% of respondents indicate that the number of visitors who carry out tourist activity can be increased by implementing market/Marketing strategies. 90% of those surveyed say that advertising through social networks can increase the number of visitors each year and 100% of those surveyed say that promoting gastronomic tourism plans to people through social networks can be a tool that helps attract more tourists, both nationally and internationally. The conclusions of the investigation show that marketing strategies should be based on gastronomic tourism and should focus mainly on placing images, icons, figures, drawings, alluding to the main gastronomic dishes offered by the Ventanas canton. Since the main tourist attraction of this canton is gastronomy, this element can be used as a factor that motivates and attracts tourists from other parts of Ecuador and Latin America. It is recommended to propose a tourist plan that ensures to improve the historical tour of the canton Ventanas and improve the experience of the user or tourist and create digital communication networks through social networks where the image of the corn fair is spread by all social media available. |
