Shrnutí:School dropout has been perceived since ancient times, either by the distinction of social classes or by the lack of interest that the student has in the educational process; However, nowadays it is an event that occurs more constantly, being significantly influenced by the virtual modality of education, there are several factors that influence this process; However, in this research, various causes have been detected for which students drop out of school. In this way, an investigation has been carried out at the Francisco Robles Basic Education School to determine how virtual education influences student dropout, which has been carried out through the application of a survey to teachers of Basic Superior. Through this study carried out, it has been concluded that this type of study that is being carried out influences to a great extent in the desertion of students, since a large part of the teachers corroborate that aspects such as the training of teachers and students, the teaching methodology, the adaptation in this virtual environment and the family context are triggers in the school dropout of students in virtuality. For this reason, a proposal has been put forward as an alternative to solve the diagnosed problem.
