The Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Babahoyo canton, through the Directorate of Promotion and Productive Development (FODEPRO), promotes a series of public initiatives to boost productive capacities in the territory, through the construction and collective implementation of agreements between the public sector and private sector that promote an inclusive and sustainable territorial economic development model. Productive development is the main public contribution to the territorial economic development process. Its purpose is to contribute to Good Living by generating employment and income in the province.

Its purpose is to contribute to Good Living by generating employment and income in the province.El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “estrategia promocional municipal para dinamizar el comercio local en el cantón Babahoyo a través de la gestión empresarial, emprendimiento e innovación del G.A.D en el año 2022” se centra en el comercio del cantón babahoyense por la preocupación de sus comerciantes y el miedo de que sus negocios quiebren debido a la pandemia del covid-19, es por eso que este proyecto busca estrategias promocional para dinamizar el comercio y tratar de revertir la situación que se encuentra atravesando el comercio en el cantón Babahoyo. El Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado del cantón Babahoyo, a través de la Dirección de Fomento y Desarrollo Productivo (FODEPRO), promueve una serie de iniciativas públicas para impulsar las capacidades productivas en el territorio, mediante la construcción e implementación colectiva de acuerdos entre el sector público y privado que potencien un modelo de desarrollo económico territorial inclusivo y sostenible. El fomento productivo es el principal aporte público al proceso de desarrollo económico territorial.
