Colitis has started to affect a large part of the population, but especially young people. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic disease, which if it does not have an adequate intervention can lead to colon cancer. My clinical case was developed based on a patient attended through the Ministry of Public Health, who went to a health house presenting bloody stools 4 days ago, commitment to the general condition, rectal tenesmus and constipation of 3 days of evolution; All the necessary studies are carried out in order to reach a diagnosis of ulcerative colitis. The interventions carried out focused on helping the patient in the elimination of the body's own waste and providing education and counseling about the pathology that is afflicting her, since it has no cure and she will have to live with it all her life. |
