| Samenvatting: | Craniocerebral trauma is characterized by altered neurological function, which could lead to irreversible damage to the person even in some cases it could cause death, so in hospitals there is a high incidence of these cases where they have increased the rate of morbidity and mortality. The present clinical case study is oriented in the nursing care process in a 5-year-old pediatric female patient with craniocerebral trauma in the Pediatric area of the BASIC HOSPITAL OF ARENILLAS located in the city of Arenillas- El Oro - Ecuador where he was admitted for a period of 2 days. The clinical case study has as a general objective: To apply the nursing care process through a nursing diagnosis in a 5-year-old female pediatric patient who presents with craniocerebral trauma in the Pediatric area of the Basic Hospital of Arenillas. Applying the nursing care process, through the stated objectives, and acting in a way with scientific knowledge and ethical values, the respective nursing care was given with the medical treatment, where positive results were obtained in the recovery of the pediatric patient during his in-hospital stay |
