Patient reports that about 3 hours ago and after family discussion presents precordial pain of oppressive type, high intensity 8/10 on the scale of EVA, which radiates to the anterior region of the neck, front side of the shoulder and left arm, reason why which is transferred by relatives to the JULIUS DOEPFNER Hospital where he performs an electrocardiogram and suggests the admission, however the patient decides not to enter so prescribing aspirin and other medication that he does not remember. Approximately 2 hours ago the picture was exacerbated presenting dyspnea of small efforts, profuse diaphoresis and palpitations. Placing the definitive diagnosis as an acute myocardial infarction of the anterolateral side. It seems logical that the term acute myocardial infarction is applied when there is an exacerbation of health problems that shows a clear difficulty in the patient's deterioration when it is not treated in time. It is essential to know that not all patients are prone to suffer from this type of pathology but to exceptions such as those who lead a full and healthy life. |

It is essential to know that not all patients are prone to suffer from this type of pathology but to exceptions such as those who lead a full and healthy life.El caso clínico que se presentara a continuación se refiere al adulto mayor de sexo masculino de 67 años de edad que fue ingresado al área de emergencia por diagnostico presuntivo síndrome doloroso precordial. Paciente refiere que hace aproximadamente 3 horas y tras discusión familiar presenta dolor precordial de tipo opresivo, de gran intensidad 8/10 en la escala de EVA, que se irradia hacia la región anterior de cuello, cara anterior del hombro y brazo izquierdos, motivo por el cual es trasladado por familiares, al Hospital JULIUS DOEPFNER en donde facultativo le realiza un electrocardiograma y le sugiere el ingreso, sin embargo el paciente decide no ingresar por lo que le prescriben aspirina y otra medicación que no recuerda. Hace 2 horas aproximadamente el cuadro se exacerba presentando disnea de pequeños esfuerzos, diaforesis profusa y palpitaciones. Colocando así el diagnóstico definitivo como infarto agudo de miocardio de la cara anterolateral. Parece lógico que el término infarto agudo de miocardio se aplique cuando existe una exacerbación de problemas de salud que muestre una clara dificultad en el deterioro de la misma del paciente cuando no es tratado a tiempo.
