Description
Summary:Neonatal maternal mortality in adolescents is a clear indicator that complications from hypertensive pathologies in our country is a clear example of why it is necessary to improve the quality of care and reduce these rates in public health. The objective is to determine the causes of maternal death in adolescent pregnancy, carrying out a clinical case study in which the variables obtained from the Maternal Perinatal Medical Record of the Ministry of Public Health were analyzed. Preeclampsia and subsequent Eclampsia during the second half of pregnancy in obstetrics and gynecology is one of the most complex pathologies because it can cause serious complications in fetal development, and even lead to the death of the mother or fetus. The actions carried out in the emergency area are in accordance with the management protocols of the Ministry of Public Health, but I must emphasize that the delay in identifying the symptoms can lead to serious complications for the mother.
