Evaluación de diferentes densidades de siembra al voleo de la línea promisoria L-37 de arroz (Oryza sp.) en la localidad de Babahoyo

The rice (Oryza sativa L.) is one of the most important cereals in the human diet, since more than half of the world's population consumes it in large quantities. Rice production is the primary activity in the province of Los Ríos, since it generates sources of employment for a large percentage of families. This research will help us understand how rice planting density influences the yield and quality of the crop. The objective was to evaluate the effect of different broadcast planting densities using the promising line L-37. This research work was developed within the domains of the Technical University of Babahoyo of Agricultural Resources, Environment, Biodiversity and Biotechnology, the research was carried out through a field/laboratory with inferential descriptive statistics, it was also of an applied and experimental nature, based on the results achieved. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to compare the effects of planting density and rice varieties on the variables of interest. This research made it possible to solve problems related to the need for seeds per hectare for planting.
