Rehabilitación pulmonar y su influencia en la calidad de vida en niños de 8 a 10 años con asma que acuden al Hospital IESS Babahoyo Los Ríos, octubre 2018-abril 2019

Asthma is a chronic pathology characterized by recurrent crises of shortness of breath and wheezing, in addition to chronic inflammatory airway disorders in which many cells and cell elements, such as eosinophils, mast cells, lymphocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, and epithelial cells play a very important role in the inflammatory responses produced by different types of allergens, being this disease that affects people of all ages, is the most common chronic disease among children, there are currently approximately 235 million people in the world with asthma. This research study is focused on identifying the number of children diagnosed with asthma who come to the pulmonary rehabilitation service at the IESS Hospital, describing the techniques and procedures in respiratory therapy that are used in pulmonary rehabilitation for the asthmatic children and detect which strategies are applied to strengthen the knowledge of family members of children suffering from asthma to improve their quality of life, to carry out this research study the population is made up of 57 internal children of the IESS hospital aged 8 to 10 both of male and female gender who are hospitalized in the IESS Hospital of Babahoyo with the diagnosis of Asthma, one of the methods used is the inductive which started the induction in the problem that causes asthma in children they go to the IEES Babahoyo Hospital.
