Sumari:The research, whose result supports the writing of this project had as its central purpose the determination of the impact of the playful spaces in the development of artistic competence, in the children of initial 2 of the José María Estrada Coello Educational Unit, during the year 2017. For the achievement of this purpose, methods of the theoretical level and the empirical level of scientific research were used, as well as mathematical and statistical methods, which enabled the verification of the hypothesis of work proposed. In the research activity developed results of a high scientific methodological value, which according to criteria of the experts in charge of the evaluation of the scientific product achieved (diagnosis of the existing conditions in the educational unit and a system of actions, especially developed to improve the operative conditions of the ludic spaces existing in the institution, which aim to develop artistic competences in the students), can modify the situation of the operability of the play spaces in the educational unit under study. Arriving at the conclusion that, in the institution, the desired impact is not achieved, because the students do not reach the development of the planned artistic competences, being the main causes, the conditions of the existing spaces, as well as the preparation of the teachers for the development of artistic activities.
