description The short cycle crops are the most used by farmers, because their cycle is short-term, generating less investment, greater control of agricultural work and obtaining high yields in less time, which promotes the achievement of profitable economic benefits . Boron is one of the seven essential micronutrients for normal plant growth, especially important throughout the plant kingdom. This element is essential for the root system of planting, flowering, fruit set and during the seed formation process. It also regulates the water content and its main function is the transport of sugars in plants that are absorbed in the form of boric acid. Inside the plant it is considered as a little mobile element. In short-cycle crops, its use is of greater assimilation for planting in order to increase yields. The conclusions determined that the sowing of crop of short cycle is the one that more realize the agriculturalists, with the purpose of obtaining economic income in less time; it is important that producers apply microelements to their crops, so that they can increase their yields; the use of boron at times and adequate amounts helps normal plantation development, which promotes cell elongation, pollination, flowering, seed production and balances the hormonal system of plants and prevents deficiency and toxicity of boron in the crops to obtain greater production

El boro es uno de los siete micronutrientes esenciales para el crecimiento normal de las plantas, importante especialmente en todo el reino vegetal. Este elemento es indispensable para el sistema radicular de la plantación, floración, cuajado de frutos y durante el proceso de formación de semillas. Además regula el contenido de agua y su principal función es el transporte de azúcares en las plantas que son absorbidos bajo la forma de ácido bórico. Dentro de la planta es considerado como un elemento poco móvil. En los cultivos de ciclo corto su utilización es de mayor asimilación para la plantación con la finalidad de incrementar los rendimientos.
