| Résumé: | Vaginal infections are one of the most frequent reasons for prenatal consultations; and are responsible for a high incidence of maternal morbidity and perinatal morbidity and mortality, the following study was conducted in a health center of the city of miracle and the impact of vaginal infections in adolescent pregnancy was identified. It is an observational and descriptive investigation of non-experimental type. 78.6% of pregnant adolescents had completed their baccalaureate, only 21.4% had a low level of education. The diagnosis of vaginal infections was given during the first trimester of pregnancy, 59.2% of the total of patients. 73.8% had their first pregnancy during their adolescence and their delivery was vaginally represented by 79.6% of the total of patients. Complications associated with the development of vaginal infections that are described and are the threat of abortion, it was found that 6.8% of patients developed this complication |
