In addition, he presented difficulties in his interpersonal relationships and was a self-conscious child due to his fear of being embarrassed and discriminated for his poor use of language. We worked with a cognitive-behavioral therapeutic approach, achieving in the patient to develop a more assertive communication, among other results, such as greater development and adaptability in his environment. |

We worked with a cognitive-behavioral therapeutic approach, achieving in the patient to develop a more assertive communication, among other results, such as greater development and adaptability in his environment.El tema “Trastorno del lenguaje y su repercusión en las relaciones interpersonales de un niño de 12 años de edad de la Unidad Educativa 5 de octubre del Cantón Echeandía”, se desarrolló llevando a cabo una metodología cualitativa a través de las técnicas de la entrevista clínica, historia clínica y test psicométricos (HTP – Prueba mental OTIS), en la que se pudo visualizar dificultades en la estructuración y pronunciación del lenguaje, cumpliendo los criterios de diagnóstico de un trastorno específico de la pronunciación F 80.0 según el CIE 10. Además, presentó dificultades en sus relaciones interpersonales y ser un niño cohibido por su miedo a ser avergonzado y discriminado por su mal uso del lenguaje.
