Exportación de banano (Musa x paradisiaca) y su importancia en la economía de Ecuador

Based on the development of the research study that was based on the export of banana (Musa x paradisiaca) and its importance in the economy of Ecuador, where objectives were established as to know the banana export and its importance in the economy of the country; In addition, a methodology was applied based on the analysis of bibliographic background and theoretical analysis that allowed the development of the case, the export and production of bananas in the country are found in 20 provinces where the coastal provinces provide about 90% of the crops for export and generate higher economic income, while the highlands region 9% and the Amazon with 1%. The banana export of Ecuador maintains a favorable relationship with the markets of other countries, however, problems are generated by the competition of other exporters with a lower price but with a product of less quality, it is also evident that this activity generates much competitiveness, based on the conclusions it has been possible to know the importance of banana exports and its importance in the economy of Ecuador, which has been determined as one of the largest exported productions that generate greater economic growth in the country.
