總結:VIII. SUMMARY The present research work was carried out in the premises of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo, located at km. 7,5 of the Babahoyo-Montalvo road. The geographic coordinates in UTM were 668742 E; 9801033 N. The zone presents a humid tropical climate, with a temperature that oscillates between the 24 and 26 ° C, with relative humidity of 88 %, annual average precipitation of 1262 mm, with height of 8 msnm and 990 hours of heliophany of annual average. As seed material was used janeiro grass stolons, from the material collected in the grounds of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, which were irradiated to (52 Gy) gamma rays (60Co.) The treatments consisted of 1 a genetic material with a level of irradiation that are: 52 and a non-irradiated control 0 Gy. Data analysis techniques were used to estimate the average, arithmetic mean, range of variation, standard deviation (SD) and the coefficient of variation (CV). All the necessary agricultural work was carried out for its normal development as preparation of planting material, planting, fertilization, weed control To estimate the effects of the treatments, the following data were taken: mortality of stolons, height of the plant, stem diameter, leaf length, leaf width, leaf area, chlorophyll level, fresh stem biomass, fresh foliar biomass, fresh biomass plant, biomass ca stem, dry foliar biomass, dry biomass plant, number of leaves and knots, flowering days, yield of dry matter. Based on the results obtained, it was determined that at a dose of 52 Gy there were no phenotypic differences with respect to the control, with a CV <at 50 %. in the mortality variable (%), the highest average was the control with 36,84 %. When at plant height, leaf length, chlorophyll level, leaf area, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of knots. The irradiated treatment with 52 Gy presented higher averages than the control treatment. In the variable days of flowering significant differences were reached for the pasture treatments. The highest average was control with 172,5 days, which verified that treatment with 52 Gy was earlier in flowering. Key words: Irradiation levels, genetic material, yield, biomass.
