Adolescence is one of the most important stages of change in the life of the human being, characterized by growth and biological, psychological and social changes. It is important that health professionals give educational talks and guide students about sex education, to prevent future pregnancies in adolescents That is why the general objective was to identify the relationship of nursing actions with the prevention of pregnant women in adolescents in the Nicolás Infante Díaz del Cantón Palenque educational unit in the Province of Los Ríos in the first semester of 2018. In the research, a field study, descriptive cross section, quantitative modality for the realization of statistical analysis. The inductive and deductive methods were also used. Given the results obtained, it was determined that 53% of adolescents of 10 and 13 years old have already started their sexual life, 63% say they do not know the risks to which they are exposed, 20% do not know about contraceptive methods and 15 % indicates not having received information about sexuality. In this way it was possible to conclude that these are the main factors that contribute to adolescent pregnancies. |

América Latina y el Caribe continúan con la segunda tasa más alta de embarazos en adolescentes. Este sigue siendo uno de los principales factores que contribuyen a la mortalidad materna e infantil. La adolescencia es una de las etapas de cambio más importantes en la vida del ser humano, que se caracteriza por el crecimiento y de cambios biológicos, psicológicos y sociales. Es importante que los profesionales de la salud impartan charlas educativas y orientar a los estudiantes sobre educación sexual, para la prevenir a futuro los embarazos en las adolescentes. Por eso se planteó como objetivo general Identificar la relación de las acciones de enfermería con la prevención de embarazados en adolescentes en la unidad educativa Nicolás Infante Díaz del Cantón Palenque en la Provincia de Los Ríos en el primer semestre 2018. En la investigación se realizó un estudio de campo, descriptivo de corte trasversal, de modalidad cuantitativa para la realización de análisis estadístico. También se utilizaron los métodos inductivo y deductivo. Ante los resultados obtenidos se determinó que el 53% de los adolescentes de 10 y 13 años ya han iniciado su vida sexual, el 63% dicen no conocer los riesgos a los que se exponen, un 20% no conocen los métodos anticonceptivos y el 15% indica no haber recibido información sobre la sexualidad.
