Initial treatment consists of the use of anticoagulants, beta-blockers, antiplatelet agents, statins, and reperfusion therapy. The present case study was carried out in order to demonstrate how the correct action of the nursing staff influences before a 60-year-old patient with acute myocardial infarction, starting with the cephalocaudal evaluation and the functional patterns of Marjory Gordon, with the aim to describe the patient's condition and evaluate each proposed intervention such as: cardiac care, pain management, and anxiety level. Resulting in the favorable evolution of the patient. |

Los principales síntomas son: dolor precordial, con irrigación hacia cuello y mandíbula, y brazo izquierdo. También existe presencia de disnea, diaforesis, nausea y vomito. El diagnóstico se basa principalmente en el electrocardiograma y el hallazgo de biomarcadores cardiacos. El tratamiento inicial consiste el uso de anticoagulantes, betabloqueantes, antiagregantes plaquetarios, estatinas y terapia de reperfusión. El presente estudio de caso se lo realizó con la finalidad de evidenciar como influye el correcto actuar del personal de enfermería ante un Paciente de 60 años con infarto agudo de miocardio, iniciando por la valoración cefalocaudal y los patrones funcionales de Marjory Gordon, con la finalidad de describir el estado del paciente y evaluar cada intervención planteada como son: cuidados cardiacos, Manejo del dolor, y nivel de ansiedad.
