This investigative work is contextualized as a crucial topic in the global virtual sphere, giving rise to a technological evolution. In the Ecuadorian panorama, the incursion of social networks has been a determining factor in the increase in the youth audience in radio stations because the transition to digital platforms, such as online radio, represents a bold advance in the delivery of radio content. In Babahoyo, the integration of these social platforms in the radio field has proven to be a significant link between the stations and their audience. With the above, this research focuses its purpose on analyzing the impact of social networks on the increase in the youth radio audience of Babahoyo in the year 2023, through a mixed approach: qualitative and quantitative, using inductive and quantitative methodology. deductive.
