Horticulture is essential for food, from which the combination of foods can be generated within the eating plan of humanity; It also plays an important role because it generates economic income and a source of important jobs for the benefit of the population. Organic fertilizers enrich the soils by incorporating nutrients and microorganisms, due to their high content of nutrients in an assimilable form, improving the quality of the substrate at a nutritional level and stimulating the vegetative growth of plants. As detailed, it was determined that the use of organic fertilizers such as manure and worm humus is evidenced in horticultural crops of the Ecuadorian coast, as an excellent alternative to the use of chemical fertilizers, because they improve the physicochemical characteristics of the soils, the value nutritional of vegetables, increasing profitable yields and economic benefits; Manure significantly increases soil organic matter, presenting a higher concentration of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, it also reduces harmful microorganisms that affect plant development and worm humus presents better conditions to be incorporated into the soil.
