The security policies implemented, the cyber threats faced and the security measures adopted are analysed. In addition, a network traffic analysis is conducted to identify potential risks. Past security incidents and current threats, such as malware attacks and port scans, are discussed. Security measures, such as the use of a Fortinet firewall and an intrusion detection system, are summarised. Recommendations for improving security, such as upgrading systems, are mentioned. The absence of a comprehensive IT security strategy and clear data protection and privacy policies may leave the university's systems and sensitive information exposed to possible attacks and exploitation by malicious actors. |
