Description
Summary:The following case study focuses on the process of nursing care in a 22-year-old female patient diagnosed at the Basic Hospital of Baba, a patient upon admission to this health home manifests abdominal pain and nausea, proceeds to take the vital signs same that are within the normal parameters, we carry out the control of anthropometric measurements which are normal; the doctor on duty performs the cephalocaudal assessment, orders the completion of the respective complementary tests together with an abdominal x-ray that helped confirm the pathology called acute appendicitis, after which the respective nursing assessment is carried out with the help of the taxonomies used in the PAE together with Marjory Gordon's theory. This research emphasizes the pathology presented by the patient, its causes, signs, symptoms, risk factors and complications. For this reason, I proceed to develop the nursing care process taking into account the altered functional patterns and based on that, obtain a nursing diagnosis and their respective care and attention interventions. The patient was followed up in order to achieve her successful recovery.
