This research emphasizes the pathology presented by the patient, its causes, signs, symptoms, risk factors and complications. For this reason, I proceed to develop the nursing care process taking into account the altered functional patterns and based on that, obtain a nursing diagnosis and their respective care and attention interventions. The patient was followed up in order to achieve her successful recovery. |

The patient was followed up in order to achieve her successful recovery.El siguiente estudio de caso se centra en el proceso de atención de enfermería en paciente femenino de 22 años diagnosticada en el Hospital Básico de Baba, paciente al ingresar en esta casa de salud manifiesta tener dolor abdominal y náuseas, se procede a tomar los signos vitales mismos que se encuentran dentro de los parámetros normales, realizamos el control de medidas antropométricas las cuales están normales; el medico de turno realiza la valoración cefalocaudal, ordena la realización de los respectivos exámenes complementarios junto a una radiografía de abdomen que ayudo a confirmar la patología denominada Apendicitis aguda, luego de ello se procede a realizar la respectiva valoración de enfermería con la ayuda de las taxonomías utilizadas en el PAE junto a la teoría de Marjory Gordon. La presente investigación hace énfasis en la patología que presenta la paciente, sus causas, signos, síntomas, factores de riesgo y complicaciones. Por este motivo procedo a desarrollar el proceso de atención de enfermería tomando en cuenta los patrones funcionales alterados y en base a eso obtener un diagnóstico de enfermería y sus respectivas intervenciones de cuidado y atención.
