En el proceso de atención fue pertinente aplicar el modelo de Marjory Gordon, que se caracterizan por no solo enfocarse en la salud física sino también en la emocional, espiritual y sin ser menos el ámbito social que junto a al PAE permite valorar a los pacientes y determinar acciones en función de sus necesidades, acerca de las manifestaciones clínicas y los cuidados de enfermería que deben brindarse, convirtiéndose en un modelo de apoyo para los profesionales de la salud.
