要約:The research carried out at the Pueblonuevo Health Center, allowed to determine the main conditioning factors in the adherence to the treatment of patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus, where one of the main problems lies in the weak empowerment and importance that people give to adequate compliance with the therapeutic recommendations, because through the application of the research technique it was determined that the patients who go to the aforementioned medical institution do not follow the recommendations of the health professional, generating contexts such as the late intake of medication, not attending medical checks, inadequate diets, little family support, among other aspects; why the research was carried out, to try to highlight the importance of the nursing intervention, not only in pharmacological treatment, but also in the promotion of self-care by the patient, the focus of the research is of a character quantitative, because the summary of the data obtained in the investigation is obtained through percentage indicators. The research methodology used in the research process is comprised of deductive and inductive methods, field, descriptive and cross-sectional research, all through the application of investigative techniques such as the survey, supported by the instrument of a questionnaire; necessary tools for the consolidation of data that represent the sufficiency of information in the research project.
