Violencia intrafamiliar y el desarrollo emocional en estudiante de 11 años de edad de la Unidad Educativa Juan León Mera

Domestic violence is a problem is a current problem and is any action that generates negligence, carried out by a family member, that harms life, physical, psychological, sexual integrity, the development of the personality of the attacked or freedom of the victim's family member regardless of gender, race or economic status, whether women, men, girls, boys, adolescents, adults or older adults that can even cause irreversible psychological damage. For this reason, the objective of this case study is to determine how domestic violence affects emotional development to know if it interferes with emotional development in an 11-year-old student, who manifests the following symptoms: isolation, detachment, lack of concentration. The results of this investigation verified that the patient suffered from a depressive condition that prevented him from correct emotional development due to the domestic violence he suffered, which is why an accompaniment and cognitive behavioral therapy were provided. As conclusions we had that, thanks to the treatment provided, a clear improvement of the patient could be obtained, leading to better social interaction with their peers and a better way of communicating their feelings with others who surround their social circle.
