Las personas con discapacidad física, visual, auditiva, intelectual entre otras, tienen el derecho de alojarse en establecimientos que ofrezcan inclusión, la accesibilidad debe ser importante para los prestadores de servicio fortaleciendo el desarrollo turístico generando mayores demandas. Los establecimientos hoteleros ofrecen diferencias ante su competencia y preferencia por parte de los turistas con discapacidad. En el presente estudio de caso se analiza la accesibilidad del alojamiento turístico del hotel emperador ubicado en el cantón Babahoyo, se realizó una ficha de observación que consiste en la recolección de datos por medio de la visualización del objeto de estudio, propone inspeccionar la ubicación y mediante datos visuales marcar la presencia o ausencia de un servicio u producto, tomando como referencia la ficha del Ministerio Nacional del Turismo Mintur y las normas INEN 3141 2018-05 para el levantamiento de información.
