Opis
Sažetak:In the development of this research based on "Contact herbicides for weed control in watermelon cultivation (C. lanatus)", the objective was to verify contact herbicides for weed control in watermelon cultivation. The research methodology was based on collecting data from books, journals, and theses to analyze the impact of improper herbicide use in watermelon cultivation. The observation and case study method was employed to identify damages, concluding that the problem severely affects production. Regarding the results, the choice of contact herbicides such as Paraquat, Diquat, and Bromoxinil depends on factors such as the type of weed and climatic conditions. The effectiveness of these herbicides is influenced by their method of application. Their proper use can significantly reduce weed coverage, improving uniformity and quality in watermelon harvests. With knowledge of these contact herbicides, production of watermelon can be enhanced precisely. The effectiveness of these herbicides shows a significant reduction in weed coverage, promoting uniformity in the size and shape of harvested watermelons. In conclusion, detailing the main contact herbicides and describing the effectiveness of contact herbicides such as Paraquat, Diquat, and Bromoxinil in watermelon cultivation ensure effective weed management, promoting healthy growth, and increasing crop productivity.
