Description
Résumé:The playful is considered as a means by which it is possible to achieve optimal cognitive development in children of early ages, since through the activities that represent it, they are given the opportunity to express feelings and emotions naturally, Being the joy and satisfaction the main characteristics that lay the foundations of an adequate experience that will lead to a new learning. The purpose of this research is to analyze the incidence of a playful activity plan on cognitive development in 4th-year boys and girls of the Ciudad de Montalvo Educational Unit. A quantitative approach methodology was obtained, a non-experimental cross-sectional or transectional design and a descriptive-correlational type. The assessment instrument for the cognitive sphere called "basic Mocca test" and the survey were applied. Results: The boys and girls of the 4th year of the Montalvo Educational Unit showed deficits in terms of attention, memory and identification indicators; Regarding the aspects of orientation, it is in optimal conditions. The classroom teacher rarely applies playful activities during the physical education class that are aimed at enhancing memory, attention and the ability to identify. Likewise, it is established that, although the teacher uses games during physical education classes, these do not go according to the age or neurological maturation of the child, so the true objective of teaching is lost. Conclusion: Playful activities lead the child not only towards exploration; but also towards intellectual progress that helps to develop motor and perceptive abilities; as well as creativity and motivation; where all this contributes to integral development.
