总结:The present clinical case is about a 45-year-old male patient who attended a medical consultation when he referred a clinical picture that began approximately 2 months ago marked by burning retro-sternal pain that rises to the throat, bitter sensation in the mouth and Occasional vomiting, which in the last weeks presents pain when swallowing, presents symptoms that diminish with the administration of oral antacids but that in the last one does not find relief, refers the patient who has been abusing alcohol intake every weekend for 6 months , with increased caloric intake and irritating foods, but in recent days he has eaten little food, it is said that he eats 3 times a day due to the symptoms he presents, he refers to retro sternal pain of moderate intensity, so he decides to investigate possible heart problems, where the doctor through an upper digestive endoscopy reflects lesions of the mucosa in number of 2 less or equal to 3 and 5 mm d e length that does not extend between the upper part of the mucosa folds of the esophagus, stomach and normal duodenum and diagnoses the patient with esophagitis. Nutritional status was assessed with anthropometric, biochemical, clinical and dietary methods where alterations are observed when being overweight due to the body mass index of 27.15kg / m2 and an intake, although decreased, but with high fat content according to the reminder calculation. of 24 hours, a soft diet of 1800 calories is prescribed distributed in 5 meal times and the proper recommendations are given. In conclusion, favorable results are observed in the treatment and nutritional intervention according to the follow-up where weight loss and absence of esophagitis symptoms are demonstrated.
