Etiketle | Özet: | Introduction: The vocation in nursing and its relation with the performance in the care of the patient is of great importance its analysis taking as reference that the vocation is one of the bases to do what they like, making a synthesis of the subject of study with their international, national and institutional contexts and the scientific bases. Objective: The main objective is to determine how the vocation in nursing is related to the performance in patient care. Method: The inductive method was applied since we worked with hypotheses and antecedents previously studied in a general way, the type of research that is project is field, descriptive and transversal, obtaining a total sample of 59 students. Results: The most relevant result shows that 41% of students decided to study nursing by vocation, while the difference manifests other priorities. Another considerable result is 49% of respondents consider the vocation as a feeling of help. Conclusion: It is concluded that there is a considerable percentage of students who do not feel vocation for the profession they study. Since the choice of the career they studied was not chosen on their own initiative, because other factors intervened. |
