Currently, the interaction of the business world and customer attraction, generating greater sales volume, has been notably influenced by digital marketing through the use of social networks. The objective of this study is to analyze digital marketing strategies on social networks and their influence on the ventures associated with the municipal GAD of the Puebloviejo canton. In this way, exploratory research was established using a mixed research design (qualitative and quantitative), which allowed obtaining timely information through data collection techniques based on the application of surveys and direct observation forms aimed at entrepreneurs dedicated to the sale and distribution of food in the Puebloviejo canton. In which it was concluded that digital marketing through social networks plays a crucial role in attracting customers, increasing sales and developing businesses.

In which it was concluded that digital marketing through social networks plays a crucial role in attracting customers, increasing sales and developing businesses.Las plataformas de redes sociales en el ámbito del marketing digital optimizan la interacción entre las empresas y sus clientes, al tiempo que permiten a los usuarios acceder a productos o servicios que se encuentran más cercanos a su ubicación geográfica, gracias a la segmentación del mercado. En la actualidad, la sinergia entre el ámbito empresarial y la captación de clientes, que resulta en un incremento significativo en las cifras de ventas, ha sido considerablemente impactada por el marketing digital a través del aprovechamiento de las redes sociales. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar las estrategias de marketing digital en redes sociales y su influencia en los emprendimientos asociados al GAD municipal del cantón Puebloviejo. De tal manera se estableció una investigación exploratoria empleando un diseño de investigación mixta (cualitativo y cuantitativo), que permitió obtener información oportuna a través de las técnicas de recolección de datos en función de la aplicación de las encuestas y ficha de observación directa dirigido a los emprendedores dedicados a la venta y distribución de alimentos en el cantón Puebloviejo.
