SAD is the significant increase in fear, restlessness, sadness, etc., in the adolescent when seeing that there is the possibility that his parent, a loved one or very close to him may separate or abandon him for any kind of reason or circumstance. The use of research techniques and psychometric tools was essential, together with the DSM-5 manual giving SAD as a diagnosis, which allowed knowing data regarding the problem that affects the patient due to the strong impact that it caused on her mood. The application of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques are of great help for this type of case, which must be implemented by a professional and these will significantly benefit the patient. |
