Dada la significativa prevalencia de tendinopatía en futbolistas juveniles y los pocos datos específicos sobre la efectividad de los tratamientos en contextos locales, este estudio aborda la necesidad de identificar los métodos fisioterapéuticos más efectivos para esta población. El objetivo principal de este estudio es evaluar la efectividad del tratamiento fisioterapéutico en futbolistas juveniles con tendinopatía. Los objetivos específicos incluyen identificar los factores de riesgos asociados, describir los métodos fisioterapéuticos utilizados y medir la recuperación funcional post tratamiento. Este estudio se realizó por medio de un diseño descriptivo y exploratorio con una población de 80 futbolistas y cuya muestra tan solo es de 30 atletas.
