The Administrative and Financial Vice President is an integral part of the administrative management structure of the Technical University of Babahoyo, and is responsible for support units such as: Planning Department, Financial Department, Human Talent Department, Construction Department, Administrative Department, Technology and Information System Department. It is currently rightly directed by Lcdo. Francisco Galarza Bravo, MSc. The purpose of the investigation is to review the document management process that the Office of the Administrative and Financial Vice President executes. The methodology used was descriptive with a qualitative approach. For this purpose, the research line was used: Administrative, Tax, Audit and Control Financial Management, as well as its respective research subline: Public and private companies and institutions, established within the framework of the Commerce Career. This dependency does not have a document management system, therefore an unofficial flow of document management processes has been established, with the sole purpose of guaranteeing the reception, organization, filing and search of documents that enable the agility of the processes. administrative and/or academic It is worth noting that the Office of the Vice-Rector for Finance on document management uses technological tools such as Mails, scanning and utility programs such as Excel, in addition to using electronic documentation validated by digital signature, which has a great impact on the environment and agility in procedures.
