Intervención de enfermería en paciente de 38 años con diagnóstico de preeclampsia.

In the present clinical case, the case of a 30-week gestation woman with a diagnosis of preeclampsia at the Hospital León Becerra Camacho del Cantón Milagro is shown, who presented alarming signs and symptoms such as high blood pressure (170/90 mm / hg), during the last weeks, in addition to this, I have presented alterations in the values of complementary tests and findings in the physical examination carried out by the OB-GYN. The patient did not have a record of her blood pressure before, did not attend all prenatal check-ups and also claims to have gained around 10kg, which gave signs of an inadequate diet, added to stress factors due to her work activities. The physical examination was performed and all functional patterns were evaluated, so there were six affected patterns that required primary care and the application of nursing care. Once the nursing care process was established and applied, the follow-up was maintained, due to its score of 9 in the mom Score, a strict plan was established which consisted of applying the mom Score every 30 minutes, evaluating vital signs, plus signs of maternal danger, continually assess fetal well-being until verifying that both mother and fetus were out of danger. These activities were carried out for 5 days until it was certain that the patient was out of danger. On the fifth day, she was discharged, but she had to continue treatment with antihypertensive drugs, complete rest, and undergoing blood tests and fetal monitoring until she was at least 38 weeks pregnant and was able to carry out the cesarean section.
