Permite a los niños adquirir nuevo vocabulario, mejorar la atención y concentración, desarrollar la creatividad y fortalecer vínculos afectivos. El objetivo principal del trabajo será evaluar cómo el rincón de lectura puede mejorar la capacidad cognitiva e imaginativa de los estudiantes en el Centro de Educación Inicial “Amarilis Sandoya Cepeda, centrándose en aspectos específicos como la expansión del vocabulario, la comprensión verbal, y la expresión emocional. Además, se buscará comprender cómo la introducción de un rincón de lectura en el entorno educativo puede estimular la creatividad y la capacidad de pensamiento abstracto de los niños de 4 a 5 años, identificando posibles mejoras en sus habilidades cognitivas y emocionales a lo largo del periodo de evaluación. Basándonos en un tipo de investigación descriptivo porque la idea principal es evaluar y a la vez detallar la efectividad actual del rincón de lectura en el Centro de Educación Inicial antes mencionado, teniendo como población los docentes y padres de familia de los estudiantes y aplicando una encuesta a cada uno de ellos. Los resultados obtenidos respaldan las teorías educativas que enfatizan la importancia de proporcionar entornos ricos en estímulos para el desarrollo integral de los estudiantes en la etapa de Educación Inicial.
