At present the realization of ecological and sustainable tourist activities have increased, even so, in the city of Quevedo they are scarce, so the practice of cycle tourism will have positive impacts on environmental, economic, and cultural areas. 82% of those surveyed in the city of Quevedo stated that they had knowledge of the term cycling while 18% did not know it, 66% considered that they had not done cycling and 34% had been present in this sustainable activity, 98% of the surveyed community believe that it is important to do sustainable tourism and 96% would carry out a tourism cycle in Quevedo, all of the respondents, that is, 100% said that this tourism modality will have positive benefits in the city of Rio. Among the situations detected are found that citizens, despite knowing the definition and the way to run cycle routes, many have not done it, thus identifying the need of Quevedo population for safe cycle routes and with tourist facilities. As solutions, the creation of a tourist cycle route visiting three important tourist sites in the city is mentioned, demonstrating that in addition to fun, people will have a cultural enrichment. Since this proposal promotes sustainable tourism, encourages the use of bicycles as a means of transportation, encourages healthy habits and increases the economic, tourist, social and cultural development of the city. |
