Las fotografías informativas y su incidencia en los contenidos periodísticos de la prensa escrita editados en el Cantón Babahoyo

Within the image informative journalism is fundamental to fulfill the role of the information element, to thereby draw the attention of potential readers and transmit such content in a visual way. However, currently not you are giving the proper place to photography and is following the process of training students in the field. First a survey was conducted to students and professionals of social communication to know their perception about the news photography and the shortcomings that have the same in the press; It is from these surveys where the idea of creating an informative manual picture emerges. This proposal aims to train students of social communication, as well as serving as a guide for current print media professionals from the city of Babahoyo, in informative photography; where in addition they understand the importance of it in the communication process, as expressed Moreno Ribes (2014) for whom the photographic image "continues to function as an essential element for successful communication between the newspaper and the reader, as it charge to reflect the reality of the case that is being reported and aid understanding of the news.
