Control de inventarios de la compañía exportadora de Banano Agzulasa Cia. Lda. del cantón Samborondón

The objective of this case study is to analyze inventory management problems in its due control of inputs and outputs of materials and supplies, La Compañía Exportadora de Banano “Agzulasa Cía. Lda.” It is dedicated to the production and marketing of quality tropical fruits. For the development of the research, a descriptive methodology was used since the events that occurred in the company were described through the data obtained also with observation and interview techniques, which were applied to the personnel who work in the company, it was determined that They lack policies and norms that allow an adequate management of the resources themselves that are not properly used, in addition, the company does not carry out an adequate control on the inventory due to several factors, the company does not carry out any inventory valuation method (Kàrdex) at register the documentation of entry and exit. They do not have an accounting software system where they can have control and also an organization of the processes they carry out, it can be evidenced in the registered quantities do not coincide with the physical quantities of warehouse materials, as they do not have an adequate record of the inventories and not applying the respective guidelines that are essential for a good management and control of the company causing negative results when making decisions.
