There are 3 types of peritoneal dialysis: Continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD), Diálisis peritoneal continúa asistida por un ciclador (CCPD), Combinación de CAPD y CCPD. Hemodialysis: purifies and filters the blood using a machine to temporarily eliminate the dangerous wastes of the body, the 2 main types of access are: the arteriovenous fistula and a graft. |

En los valores bioquímicos se observan valores de glucosa elevados, de igual manera los valores de creatinina también están aumentados. Presenta un IMC normal, refiere que desde hace 2 días presenta náuseas y vómitos. La insuficiencia renal es una afección que provoca que los riñones dejen de funcionar y no puedan filtrar los desechos nocivos de la sangre. Entre los síntomas están: cambios en la orina, fatiga, purito, edema de manos y pies, dismia, lumbagia. Los tratamientos de la enfermedad renal crónica dependen de la etapa de la enfermedad, y este consiste en la terapia de reemplazo renal mediante diálisis peritoneal, hemodiálisis, o trasplante y a su vez un plan de alimentación adecuado. Diálisis peritoneal: es un procedimiento que elimina los desechos químicos y el exceso de agua de su cuerpo, este tipo de diálisis usa el revestimiento de abdomen o barriga para filtrar la sangre. Hay 3 tipos de diálisis peritoneal: Diálisis peritoneal ambulatoria continua (CAPD), Diálisis peritoneal continúa asistida por un ciclador (CCPD), Combinación de CAPD y CCPD.
