Description
Summary:The present investigation was established in the grounds of Mr. Angel Santamaria Jara, located at Km 27.5 of the way Babahoyo - Montalvo, Campus 'Las Mercedes', Canton Montalvo, Los Rios Province, testing six improved varieties of rice in the presence of two levels of chemical fertilizers, in order: 1) evaluate the agronomic and physiological behavior of the six varieties of rice crops broadcast and dry conditions, 2) Identify the range of higher grain yield per hectare, 3) Determine chemical fertilizer program best suited to maximize grain yield, and 4) Economic analysis of treatments and undertreated. The rice varieties were: 'SGO - 667', 'F - 21', 'F - 50', 'S - FL - 09', 'Iniap 15' e 'Iniap 16'. The chemical fertilizer levels were: a) 115.54 - 66.18 - 127.09 and 92 - 0 - 30 Kg / ha of NPK. Experimental design was used "split plots" in four replications. The main plots corresponded to the levels of chemical fertilizer (treatments) and experimental varieties as subplots (subtreatments). The subplot experimental area was 3.0 mx 6.0 m = 18 m2, while the effective area was 2 mx 5 m = 10 m2, ie 0.50 m was removed around the experimental subplot. The seed was broadcast with a density of 100 kg of seed per hectare
