Comportamiento agronómico de tres variedades de arveja (Pisum sativum), sembradas a tres distanciamientos de siembras en la zona de Babahoyo

This research work was carried out in the Experimental Farm "San Pablo", of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo, it is located at km 7.5 via Babahoyo - Montalvo, Province of the Rivers . The geographical coordinates of the site are: west longitude 79º 32 ’, south latitude 01º49’, altitude 8 msnm. As for the climatic characteristics of the area, it has an annual temperature of 26.3 ºC, precipitation of 1761.09 mm / year, relative humidity of 76% and 804.7 hours of annual average heliophile. In this trial, 3 Early, Arvejón and Quantum varieties were used as treatments and 3 planting distances of 80 x 20; 70 x 30 and 90 x 25 cm. The experimental design “BCA randomized complete block was used, in factorial arrangement A x B, where Factor A was the varieties of Peas, Factor B planting distance and 3 repetitions, giving a total of 27 experimental units. For the evaluation and comparison of means, the Tukey test was used at 5% of possibilities. The variables evaluated were plant height, pod length, number of pods per plant, number of grains in pods, yield and economic analysis. Based on the results obtained, it was determined that in the variable plant height from 7 to 45 days after planting, pea varieties influenced their averages without registering variation with respect to planting distances; the Arvejón variety with planting distance of 80 x 20 cm had a greater length of pods; Regarding the variables pods per plant and grains per pods, there were no significant differences, obtaining averages of 7 pods per plant and 5 grains per pod; in the crop yield, the Quantum variety with planting distance of 70 x 30 cm stood out with 6349.3 kg / ha, while in the second harvest, the Arvejón variety stood out in the planting distances of 80 x 20 cm with 3125 , 0 kg / ha and the greatest net profit was reached by the Quantum variety with a planting distance of 70 x 30 cm with $ 319.7.
