The present clinical case study is of a 68-year-old female patient who attends the General Hospital "Dr. Liborio Panchana Sotomayor" to the outpatient area for internal medicine because she presents a clinical picture of some months of evolution characterized by left unilateral pleural effusion accompanied by dyspnea on medium efforts, tachypnea, hypoxemia, sharp pain in the chest and general malaise; Upon evaluation, the family members were questioned, who refer to a history of controlled arterial hypertension. By assessing Maryori Gordon's functional patterns, it is possible to apply nursing care by applying the NANDA, NIC, NOC taxonomies, considerably improving the clinical manifestations and their needs. |
