By assessing Maryori Gordon's functional patterns, it is possible to apply nursing care by applying the NANDA, NIC, NOC taxonomies, considerably improving the clinical manifestations and their needs. |

El presente estudio de caso clínico es de una paciente de sexo femenino de 68 años de edad la cual acude al Hospital general "Dr. Liborio Panchana Sotomayor" al área la consulta externa por medicina interna por presentar cuadro Clínico de algunos meses de evolución caracterizado por derrame pleural unilateral izquierdo acompañado de disnea de medianos esfuerzos taquipnea, hipoxemia, dolor agudo a nivel de torax y malestar general; al ser valorado se interrogo a los familiares lo cual refieren antecedente de hipertensión arterial controlada.
