الملخص:This research addressed the topic of the use of growth promoter additives in swine, since feed is a fundamental part of pig production and in some cases it is not adequate for the final production required. The objective sought during this research was to identify what type of additives are used to improve performance in a livestock farm, in addition to knowing the importance they have in animal progress. The development of the research was based on the review of previously selected scientific documents to recognize what types of additives are used such as probiotics, prebiotics, symbiotics, and enzymes, and to know that each of the mentioned brings benefits such as weight gain, improve feed quality, prevent diseases and certain pathogens. According to the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the use of additives is essential nowadays for swine production, providing nutritional values to the diets with which it was possible to observe a notorious improvement in the animals and the most significant thing is that these substances do not present residues in the final production.
