The result was to inquire about the respiratory therapy treatment in a patient with cerebrovascular accident associated with chronic respiratory failure, applying all the care and safety protocols that it requires in order to control complications that threaten the patient's airway.El presente caso clínico se realizó con la finalidad de aplicar el proceso de cuidado de terapia respiratoria en paciente con Accidente Cerebro vascular (ACV), de sexo masculino, 55 años de edad, con una insuficiencia respiratoria crónica, que ingresa al área de emergencia inconsciente, tos con expectoración, disnea, dolor torácico, alza térmica, quejidos espiratorios, acompañado por familiares. Luego de la valoración médica se decide su ingreso a la unidad de cuidados intensivos.
